Adult Learning Series: Metroparks’ New Howard Marsh

Enrich your knowledge of the natural and cultural history of our region through this weekly lecture series featuring an indoor presentation followed by an optional, short naturalist led hike. Denis Franklin, Metroparks Toledo Natural Resources Supervisor, will highlight our newest Metropark. Howard Marsh, located in Jerusalem Township is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018, just in time for the spring bird migration. Denis will discuss the property acquisition, the wetlands restoration and the park’s amenities.
