Bat Count at Conservancy Farm

Bat Count at Conservancy Farm
When:Friday, Jul 13, 2018
Where:Conservancy Farm, 8383 Vreeland Rd, Superior Charter Twp, MI 48198, USA (map)
Description:Bring your friends and family to help count bats living in the Conservancy Farm’s big red barn. Each year we’ve counted Big Brown Bats flying out of the barn, setting a new record last year with 260! The bats sleep during the day and emerge at dusk to fly off through the Superior Greenway for their nightly insect hunt. The more eyes we have watching, the more accurate our count will be.

Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and pillows if you like. No pets, please. Be prepared for mosquitoes and evening temperature drop. Come early and explore.
