Biological Calendars, Plant Phenology and Growing Degree Days

Have you ever wanted to plan a party around the blooming natives in your yard? Amy Stone with the Ohio State University Extension office shares information about growing degree day accumulations, plant phenology and the factors that determine when plants bloom, and the science behind biological calendars and how each have applications in our landscapes and the environment that we live in. Participants will learn about each topic and have an understanding how they can use all three things in their garden, landscape, or while they are out in nature. REGISTER
