Black Swamp Conservancy Drive-In Film Screening

THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY OCCURED: JUNE 17

Black Swamp Conservancy is hosting a drive-in screening of two films that explore our relationship with the land.

Please help us get the word out about this fun and safe event to your family, friends, community, and those in your organization!

Where: Field of Dreams Drive-In Theater, Liberty Center, OH, a short 30-minute drive from Toledo

Time: Gates will open at 8:30 pm; movies begin at dusk

Cost: Free and open to the public

Donations to Black Swamp Conservancy are appreciated and can be made online here.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Bring camp chairs and a portable FM radio if you wish to sit outside your car.

 

About the films

Farmscape Ecology (26 min) follows a unique research collaborative in New York’s Hudson Valley as they work to discover how farming and wildlife can co-exist and how they can contribute to each other’s success. Directed by Jon Bwermaster.

Look & See: A Portrait of Wendell Berry (82 min) examines the changing landscapes and shifting values of rural America in the era of industrial agriculture, as seen through the mind’s eye of farmer, writer, and activist Wendell Berry. Directed by Laura Dunn; Produced by Robert Redford, Terrence Malick, and Nick Offerman.
