Conservation at Work: A Tree-mendous New Property

Metroparks Programming, Volunteer Services and Natural Resources team up to bring you this exciting guided tour of Secor Metropark’s newest property that makes it our third largest Metropark! Lace up walking shoes for this hike into the new land acquisition where you will get a firsthand account of the incredible work being done to plant thousands of native trees and restore diverse habitats on this premium Oak Openings Region land. All participants and staff that have received the COVID-19 vaccine are not required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. Those who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine must wear a mask for the duration of the program, unless outdoors and socially distanced. Mask breaks are allowed when appropriate. Social distancing will be encouraged when possible.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
This program runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. No flip-flops.
