Conservation at Work: Native Seed Planting

Metroparks Toledo is the conservation leader in Ohio–preserving, conserving, and restoring over 12,000 acres of natural areas. Join us in a journey to explore the conservation initiatives in progress in your Metroparks.

Interested in growing your own native plants, but don’t know where to start? Come learn how to seed flats with native seed at the Blue Creek Nursery and learn the next steps in the seed’s journey. Help the nursery in their conservation mission by starting plants that will produce seed for future restoration projects, and learn skills to take home to your own native gardens.
