Since 2016, Metroparks has been dealing with a new threat to our iconic oak trees – Oak Wilt. This invasive, deadly disease is a conservation problem that extends beyond the boundaries of our parks and we need your help! Join Metroparks staff to learn about this disease, take a tour of a site infected with Oak Wilt, and learn about what Metroparks is doing to combat the spread and how landowners with oak trees can help us in this battle.

All participants and staff that have received the COVID-19 vaccine are not required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors.
