Family Frolics: Hidden for Winter

‘Get Outside Yourself’ on these guided interpretive experiences that explore subjects related to the natural and/or cultural history of the Metroparks. Program opportunities include Park Highlights walks, Seasonal explorations, Nature at Night walks, Family Frolics, and more!

Take your next adventure outside and experience nature as a family with these child-centered explorations, where curiosity leads the way.

This month, find and seek the hiding spots of different critters, hunkering down for the cold of winter. Our adventure will take us through the prairie and forest on grass and dirt paths.
Please register all participating adults and children. Adults are $3 each, Children are free!

All adult participants and staff that have received the COVID-19 vaccine are not required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. Adults who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine must wear a mask for the duration of the program, unless outdoors and socially distanced. Mask breaks are allowed when appropriate. Social distancing will be encouraged when possible.


Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. This program runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. No flip-flops.
