Going Nuts at Oakwoods

October 3 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Find out who put the “oak” in Oakwoods Metropark as we search for nuts and seeds on this autumn hike.  These little bundles of baby plant joy might grow into forests and fields, but they also support innumerable wild creatures in our park.  From acorns and walnuts to milkweed fluff, we’ll discover and collect all things seedy as we enjoy a fall meander through the park. Face coverings are encouraged.

Fun for all ages!

Time: 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Cost: $5 per person

Location: Oakwoods Metropark, Nature Center Entrance
