GRI Presentation to Wild Ones

Be inspired by the power of collaboration, as Ashlee Decker from the Nature Conservancy discusses the history, challenges, and successes of the Oak Openings GRI with the Wild Ones Oak Openings Region Chapter. Formed in 2000, the GRI is a partnership of conservation groups, landowners, and individuals that are working to preserve, enhance, and restore the globally distinct ecosystem of the Oak Openings Region. Designated as “one of the 200 Last Great Places on Earth” the Oak Openings is what makes our region so special. Learn about the research, programs, and restoration techniques that GRI partners have developed and how together we can create a hopeful vision for the future.
