Join the Green Ribbon Initiative on Zoom on Tuesday, December 13th, from 7 pm – 8 pm for a virtual workshop to learn about best practices for preparing your yard for the coming winter months. The Village of Ottawa Hills is a part of the globally unique Oak Openings Region, named ‘one of the world’s last great places.’ Village residents can make a difference in improving and protecting this region right at home! This workshop will also provide resources and tools to help you start planning a native plant garden.
Although this workshop will focus on the Village of Ottawa Hills, anyone interested in learning more about winter yard preparation and native landscape planning is welcome to attend!
