Intro to Turkey Hunting

Join with a community of sportswomen for spring turkey season! Learn everything from calling to cooking in this 3-part virtual series that begins in March.

  • Intro to Turkey Hunting: March 4th 6-8pm Eastern
  • Mid-Season check-in and storytelling: April 22nd and April 25th 7-8 PM Eastern
  • Processing and recipe sharing: May 13th 7-8 PM Eastern

ABOUT THIS EVENT

Are you interested in turkey hunting and want to kick your skills and knowledge up a notch? Would you like to meet other women who are also passionate about spending time outdoors? Sign up for Artemis Turkey Tactics! This is a 3 month-long program to share knowledge, create community, and support women to getting after it in the field!

Program includes:

  • Intro to Turkey Hunting : Kick it off with a virtual information session where our experts will answer all your burning turkey hunting questions. March 4th 6-8pm Eastern.
  • Artemis Turkey Slack Channel: Stay connected with our Turkey Tactics Community throughout the season.
  • Turkey Hunt Camps: Some of our Ambassadors will be hosting opportunities to get out and hunt with other women. Or perhaps you can take the lead on hosting your own women’s hunting camp with people you meet here.
  • Mid-Season check-in and storytelling: A virtual check-in to ask questions that have come up from your time in the field and share your experiences. April 22nd and April 25th 7-8 PM Eastern
  • Processing and recipe sharing: End the season with a virtual demonstration of how to process your turkey, a cook-along with one of our favorite recipes, and cool ideas for projects with feathers. May 13th 7-8 PM Eastern
  • Storytelling contest: Share your photos and stories with our entire community and have a chance to win some great prizes!
  • Turkey Tactics Toolbox: Order a box full of turkey hunting tools to help you get started in the field! The box will include a Peglegs push button call, NWTF Turkey Target, a free code for the TurkeyTech app, and SO much more!

All meetings will be recorded. You can view it at your leisure if you aren’t able to join us live. You must register to receive access to the videos, updates, and other opportunities to connect.
