Shrubs are everywhere we look but are often an underutilized element of landscape design. While their flowers are not always as showy or long lasting as we may want, they offer many other important design features such as structure, texture and winter interest. They also provide many important ecological benefits. Laura Nilsson will discuss which native shrubs perform the best and their individual attributes.
