New Year’s Hike

Mark your calendars! It’s time to start thinking about our annual New Year’s Hike at Crosswinds Marsh to bring in the new year. This program is weather dependent.  We typically hike approximately 1 mile and often see resident birds, including the bald eagles. Even if we do not see the eagles, we will be able to see their nest. We’ll also look for animal tracks in the snow or mud and any other wildlife happenings at the Marsh.

Program fee is $6 per child and $2 per adult. If there is snow on the ground, feel free to bring your snowshoes for the hike. Watch for additional posts as the date draws nearer in case we have to modify the plan due to weather.
