Ohio Pollinator Habitat Initiative (OPHI) 2021 Thanksgiving Pollinator Drawing Contest

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we wanted to let you know how thankful we are to have your support in our efforts to help monarchs and other pollinators in Ohio! With this and the upcoming holiday in mind, OPHI is announcing a drawing contest for kids ages 12 and under.

Learn more here: http://www.ophi.info/events.html

We encourage interested participants to draw a pollinator or multiple pollinators doing what they are great at… pollinating! The submission should also include a description of what the drawing represents and why you’re thankful for pollinators.

The winner of the contest will receive a $40 gift card from our wonderful sponsor Miss Hairbrush! Miss Hairbrush offers drawing tools, coloring books, drawing tutorials and more, plus part of the proceeds from her awesome coloring skills coloring book and monarch butterfly coloring sheet helps support OPHI.

Deadline for submissions is November 19, and we’ll announce the winner the day before Thanksgiving so that we can share the artwork on our website and Facebook page on Thanksgiving Day. We’ll also have a second and third place selection, whose artwork will be shared on our website and Facebook page as honorable mentions.

Artwork can be scanned or photographed, and submissions can be emailed to: ohiopollinator@gmail.com. Please make the subject of the email “2021 Thanksgiving Pollinator Drawing Contest.”
