Plants for Birds- Wild Ones Program

The Good, the Bad, the Invasive. Dr. Elliot Tramer is Professor Emeritus of Environmental Sciences at the University of Toledo. He has watched birds eat since he was 10. He has traveled to Central and South America to study the lives of migrants from North America on their tropical winter grounds. Dr. Tramer will discuss the value of native and non-native plants to birds here in Ohio, then will take us on an imaginary journey southward to see what some of our long-range migrant birds do in their winter homes.
