Welcome to TNC Ohio’s Volunteer Program!
Thank you for your interest in helping to protect and preserve nature on our spectacular preserves all over Ohio! Our volunteer projects are centered on nature preserve management and ecological restoration activities – both of which are critical components of TNC’s work and mission.
We need your help and we want you to be part of our conservation community in your area. Participating in projects will give you the opportunity to make a direct positive impact on the environment and meet people who have similar environmental passions. You can participate in as many volunteer activities as you would like.
Projects are normally 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. but can vary depending on the weather and the nature of the project.
To sign up for a project, contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Angela Burke at angela.burke@tnc.orgor 614-717-2770 x144 and indicate the project location(s) and date(s) you’d like to attend. Once you sign up for a project you will be connected with regional staff and/or leadership volunteers who will provide you with all necessary details the week prior to the project date.
You must sign up before getting more information on the project such as location and where to park.
Occasionally, projects pop-up and we don’t always have time to post a few volunteer work days on this site. To stay up-to-date on all volunteer work days, make sure to contact Angela Burke (contact info above) to add your name to our volunteer email list.
