Purple Loosestrife Removal

Volunteers will remove purple loosestrife, a deceitfully beautiful invasive species, to better allow the native plants to flourish. By clearing invasive species from our parks, we are creating healthier ecosystems for our native species. All participants must complete a release form, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Wear long pants and closed toe shoes. Lunch will be provided.

For more information, contact Brittany Leick via email or (225) 240-0845.

This event is offered in collaboration with the Western Lake Erie Cluster of the Stewardship Network and Crosswinds Marsh
