Rain barrels are an easy and efficient way to manage stormwater, while also saving money and resources! The rain barrels that will be made are from 55-gallon capacity recycled food-grade barrels and are intended to be installed underneath a downspout from a roof.

All hardware and tools are provided as well as information on installation and maintenance of your rain barrel. The barrel measures approximately 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall. It is expected that the barrels are taken home the day of the workshop.

Proper safety protocol when using power tools will be implemented during the workshop. Participants must be 18 years or older.
