Leave the lights of modern day behind as we venture into the darkness in search of the bioluminescent Foxfire Fungus. This elusive “cold fire” can only be seen on the darkest nights and under the right conditions. Participants must be able to travel over rough terrain in the dark. Registration required.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. This program runs rain or shine. Please dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. No flip-flops.
All participants and staff that have received the COVID-19 vaccine are not required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors. Those who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine must wear a mask for the duration of the program, unless outdoors and socially distanced. Mask breaks are allowed when appropriate. Social distancing will be encouraged when possible.
