Our January Stewardship event will be invasives removal at Irwin Prairie State Nature Preserve. We’ll be working with Maureen Bogdanski of the ODNR to cut and herbicide woody invasives. We’ll also create brush piles that will be burned at a later date.

Feel free to bring water, gloves, safety glasses, and loppers. There are no on-site restrooms, but Secor Metropark is close by.

Anyone registering for this event will also need to sign an ODNR volunteer form. The form can be electronically filled out, saved, and emailed to Maureen at: Maureen.Bogdanski@dnr.ohio.gov. (There will be some printed out forms available at Irwin Prairie.)
