TNC Stewardship at Kitty Todd

Saturday April 15th

Brush Removal @ Kitty Todd Preserve
10:00am – 2:00pm
Please meet at the Kitty Todd main preserve office located at 10420 Old State Line Rd, Swanton, OH 43558

What to bring:
Refillable Water bottle, Lunch and light snack, Garden Gloves, Layers for the weather & working off trail, Boots or footwear you don’t mind getting muddy.

This event will occur off trail and there will be thorny plants in the area.

Join TNC Staff Erin Morrisey on Saturday April 15th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. to remove brush and invasive plant species and help the native plant communities thrive at Kitty Todd. This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate Earth Month with the whole family!

Home to the globally endangered black oak savanna community, the preserve has one of the highest concentrations of rare species of any nature preserve in the state. Learn about the amazing diversity of plants that call the Oak Openings home and help us maintain these natural areas for years to come!
