Use Your Passion to Influence and Change Your Community

In this presentation Kara Maynard will discuss the need for all of us to take our knowledge and love of native plants into our communities. We will discuss the who, what, when, where, why and how, while focusing on landscapes within homeowner’s associations. Kara will share her experiences creating a vision for her community, being elected to an HOA board, then implementing a prairie and reforestation project. She will also discuss a variety of other projects to engage within your community and get more native plants in our landscapes. Kara is the project coordinator for the Dayton Area Wild Ones.

This is a Wild Ones monthly program, free and open to the public.
