Join Yoga and Metroparks Toledo in nature for a very special Winter Solstice Celebration at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Metroparks. During the darkest and longest night of the year, take time to reflect on the past, appreciate the present, and embrace what lies ahead.
We begin our practice by stepping into nature for a guided meditative walk outside to connect to the special stillness of this season. We return back to our mats and a roaring fire where we will move into subtle breath work and a gentle practice of reflective movement. Our intent is to create a quiet inner experience that prepares us to welcome in the beauty of the winter season.
This class is suitable for everyone.
Bring a yoga mat, blanket and any props to make you comfortable. Dress appropriately for outside.
