Winter Sowing Seed Stratification Workshop

Sacred Grounds Toledo is excited to begin the New Year with an in-person specialty workshop for anyone interested in learning to grow their own native plants. Led by Sacred Grounds Toledo Planning Team members and native plant experts Cindy Carnicom and Helen Michaels, and hosted by Larry Moore and Church of the Cross, the Winter Sowing Seed Stratification Workshop will be held on Thursday, January 19th from 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Church of the Cross gymnasium at 1750 Eastgate Road, Toledo 43614. Participants are asked to bring a rinsed and dried milk jug, tea jug, or 2-liter pop bottle and an Exacto knife or scissors (some extra supplies will be available). All other materials will be provided. Please register at https://bit.ly/SG_seeds by Tuesday, January 17th to help us prepare enough materials and space for everyone. Let’s infuse the bleak mid-winter with the hope of spring!
