Winter Walkabout Nature Hike

Come out to enjoy the winter landscape at Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy’s annual Winter Walkabout. Gather for snacks, warm drinks and social time with Conservancy friends at Superior Township Hall before heading down the road to LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve for a gorgeous winter hike. We will be outside about 1 1/2 hours — walking a little over a mile. Expect to encounter cold, snow, mud or wet conditions in places on the trail. Please, no pets.

Saturday, February 10, 2018 (in case of inclement weather: Sunday, Feb. 11th)

Pre-walk Refreshments 1:15 – 2:00 p.m. Meet at Superior Township Hall 3040 N. Prospect Road, Superior Township, MI 48198 (located at the corner of Prospect and Cherry Hill roads)

Walkabout Hike Starts 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. Hike at LeFurge Woods Nature Preserve – 1 mile south of Township Hall (park along Vreeland Road near the Conservancy Farm)
